We came together with Kaos GL Editor-in-Chief Yıldız Tar at Another Politics School.

Şişli Municipality hosted the "Another Politics School" event where we met with the esteemed Yıldız Tar, the Editor-in-Chief of Kaos GL.

In the workshop themed "Discrimination", topics such as intersectional discrimination faced by various social movements and the discrimination experienced by LGBTI+ individuals were discussed.

Yıldız Tar illuminated the roots of discrimination by stating, "Discrimination is, in one sense, a relationship of power and authority. This gives rise to privileges."

She invited us to question socially internalized norms by saying, "When discrimination is defined, privilege is seen as ‘normal’ and there is no need to define it."

With the active participation of the attendees, an effective platform for discussion was created.
