BBSO Continues with Open Session.

A panel discussion titled "Local Change and Social Democrat Municipalism" was organised in Another Politics School hosted by Efes Selçuk Municipality this year.

In the open session organised at @selcukefeskentbellegi in Efes, Efes Selçuk Mayor Filiz Ceritoğlu Sengel and Şişli Mayor Muammer Keskin discussed the impact of local governments on society and the role of social democratic approaches in local governance.

Dear @filizceritoglusengel and Dear @muammerkeskinsisli shared their experiences in their municipalities and emphasised the applicability of social democratic municipalism and how changes at the local level can be achieved.

In the session where issues such as efficient delivery of local services, sustainable development of cities and reducing social inequalities were discussed, the people of Efes and BBSO participants contributed to the creation of a common vision for change at the local level.
