SARPE: Socially Situated Architectural Pedagogies Erasmus+ Project, we came together with Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture, Collective Imagination Architecture Studio students and Boğaziçi students.
In the project, which aims to produce alternative ways of university education in cooperation with the society, a series of seminars were held with the contributions of Elmas Arus, Hande Sart, Aslıhan Şenel and Aylin Vartanyan in the first cooperation meeting titled ‘Weaving Social Ties - Education, Creativity and Life in Şişli through Community Centre and University Collaborations’.
Elmas Arus, President of Zero Discrimination Association, explained the work of the association in terms of community-based work and talked about child-centred approaches in working with Roma children.
