At Another Politics School, we were with our esteemed lecturer Emre Erdoğan in the ‘Social Landscape’ session.
"Another Politics School" hosted by Şişli Municipality continued with the theme "Social Landscape."
In the session held with the participation of our esteemed lecturer Emre Erdoğan, we focused on "Fractures in Turkey and the World," deeply examining the impact of political parties on social fault lines. Emre Erdoğan emphasized that political parties are a reflection of conflicts and demands in society, stating, "The number of political parties is a critical indicator to understand the dynamic structure of society."
While discussing the historical development of political parties in the context of Europe and Turkey, he highlighted the importance of the functions of parties. "Political parties do not only participate in elections; they also undertake the task of representing social values," inviting participants to think deeply about these issues.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the esteemed @urbanhobbit for their contributions to "Another Politics School."
