Clover Girl removed from the list of 100 essential works
Kemal Bilbaşar's work 'Yonca Kız' was removed from the list of 100 Basic Works, which includes publications on youth and early adolescence literature in order to ensure that students learn to read.
MEB Basic Education General Manager Funda Kocabıyık stated that such a decision was made because the work included behaviors and negative expressions that were not appropriate for students, and warned the relevant 81 provincial directors of national education.

The book covers the life of Yonca Kız, who lives in a town in Central Anatolia. Her father is killed. Yonca Kız is kidnapped.
