Evaluation Board Members for the Roma Education Fund Scholarship Programme

Within the scope of the project "Increasing Educational Opportunities for Roma Youth in the Western Balkans and Turkey", funded by Zero Discrimination Association with the support of the European Union (EU) and Roma Education Fund (RARE), scholarships will be provided to Roma students.

Within the scope of the Roma Education Fund RARE Scholarship programme, an independent selection committee of 5 members consisting of academics, teachers and civil society organisations will be established to evaluate the scholarships to be provided to Roma youth continuing their education in high school and university.

These selection committee members will evaluate the applications on the basis of academic performance and motivation.

A total of 60 students will be awarded scholarships at the high school level (30 female, 30 male), and academic achievement and motivation will be of equal importance.

At the university level, a total of 30 students will be awarded scholarships (15 women, 15 men), with academic achievement being 60% and motivation being 40% effective.

We are looking for experts with experience of working with Roma people to serve as volunteers on this evaluation board.

If you meet the above criteria and would like to contribute to the education of Roma youth, you can apply until 15 March 2024.

You can apply by sending your CV and a text describing your motivation to take part in this task to [email protected] or [email protected].
