ROMAN SOYKIRIMI’NIN ANMA AREFESİNDE LOS ANGELES’TAKİ KAFEDEN ANLAMLI HAREKET
Los Angeles'ta bulunan, "Gypsy Den" yani "Çingene Evi" isimli bir kafe ve bar, Roman soykırımının anma arefesinde çok anlamlı bir harekete imza attı. Bölgede yaşayan Roman vatandaşların kelimeye yönelik hassasiyetlerini dile getirmesinden sonra, kafenin sahibi kafenin ismindeki "Çingene" kısmını çıkartarak kafenin bundan sonra "Den" yani "Ev, Yuva" ismi ile bilineceğini beyan etti.
Zamanlama açısından Porajmos'un anma arifesine denk düşen bu güzel jestten dolayı kafe sahibini can-ı gönülden tebrik ediyor ve böyle inceliklerin sadece tek bir ülkede değil, kendi ülkemizde de görülmesini temenni ediyoruz.

MEANINGFUL GESTURE FROM LOS ANGELES CAFE CLOSE TO THE COMMEMORATION OF PORAJMOS
A local cafe named "Gypsy Den" in Los Angeles has made a very meaningful gesture during a time when the commemoration of Romani Genocide is drawing close. After the Romani citizens who have lived in the area expressed their sensitivities towards the ethnic slur "Gypsy", the cafe/bar owner shortened the name of the establishment to "The Den".
We congratulate the cafe owner for such a jest made on a date close to the commemoration of Porjamos and wish that goodwill gestures such as these not only be seen on other countries but also in ours.
